Yes, but not all patients will be reflected in the UDS Mapper. For the small number of patients for whom residence is not known or for whom a proxy is not available, residence should be reported as “unknown.” Tourists and other persons that may have a permanent residence outside the country are to be reported under “other” ZIP code. Although health centers are expected to report residence by ZIP code for all patients, some health centers may draw a significant number of patients from a large number of ZIP codes. To ease the burden of reporting, ZIP codes with ten or fewer patients may be aggregated and reported in the “other” category.
